If you think you don’t need a helmet, you probably don’t. -Unknown |

I got hit today. I get hit every weekend. I can't see the video on my iPad , so I can't tell how ugly it looked. |

wow that was close! I feel like the only thing I fear about the track is getting hit by a bike like this or getting run over.

Can see the pic but I think I have a similar situation. I was at Monticello and like an idiot missed riders meeting. I wasn't aware that the the gators are extremely slippery there, and on a turn while leaning I think my front wheel touched the gator. At the time I was at it with an 848 Ducati just having some fun. As soon as my front touched the gator down I went low siding and the first thing that went through my mind was "oh $hit the Ducati". While sliding and saying "oh $hit" I turned my head and saw the front wheel of the Ducati. Hit me right on my visor. I lost consciousness for about 3 seconds, basically the time from the asphalt to the grass. Got up still dazed and start touching myself to see if I'm ok. All good and proceed to the bike and see my wife across the track looking at me terrified. While IU was looking at the bike (still had the helmet on) I start to see blood dripping on the bike, I'm like wtf. Take off my helmet and signal to my wife that I'm ok. I notice she is looking at me like I'm a complete retard and dead worried. The helmet had twisted enough to make the chin area hit my nose badly which was causing the bleeding. Touched my nose (its big, I'm italian) and hurt like a mofo. Other then that the usual other pains where there.
